Port Said Governor inaugurates the Gas Production Factory Mosque in the Industrial Zone after performing Friday prayers Major General Adel Al-Ghadban, Governor of Port Said, inaugurated the Gas Production Factory Mosque in the Industrial Zone today, Friday, after performing Friday prayers in the mosque, expressing his happiness at opening a house of God in which His name is mentioned and Muslims learn the principles of their religion. He was accompanied by Mohamed Hamdoun, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the factory, Major General Mohamed Basla, Director of the Industrial Zone South of Port Said, and Ahmed Zaghloul, Head of the Southern District. The Governor of Port Said met with the factory workers after performing Friday prayers and inspected the departments in operation, noting that Port Said is witnessing this type of industry for the first time, which comes within the boom created in the industrial zone and the presence of giant entities that contributed to achieving the highest economic level in the region, noting that the gas factory is a new industrial edifice built on an area of 10,000 m2, to support the medical and industrial sectors in the governorate. Stressing the importance of accelerating work rates to quickly operate the factory and provide more job opportunities for the people of Port Said. The governor of Port Said confirmed that the factory will contribute to industrial uses in petroleum products companies, paper and textile industries, and a number of food and pharmaceutical industries. In addition, the factory's products of nitrogen and argon gases are important for many production processes, especially in industrial uses in petroleum products companies. He stressed that the gas production plant will pump its production of medical oxygen needed for hospitals and medical centers and support many production projects.
